With their win over Boston, Miami took control of the 2 seed in the East. It was still possible to lose the 2nd seed if they hadn't won on Monday and then lost again on Wednesday. But, that didn't happen. The Heat held onto their 2nd seed, beating the Atlanta Hawks 98-90 behind LeBron James' 34 points, Dwyane Wade's 21 points and Chris Bosh's 15 points. The Big Three outscored the entire Hawks team in the first half.

The day started in Miami and ended in Boston for fans of the Celtics and Red Sox. The Celtics looked to notch their fourth win against preseason favorites to go 82-0, the Miami Heat. But, it appears that Miami is a different team than the last three times the two teams met, winning 100-77. Or maybe it's that Boston is different - in a bad way. Either way, the Heat stand alone in 2nd place and hold the 2nd seed for the playoffs.

It was one of the wildest Sundays in Masters history. The cluster of seven or eight golfers that held a share of the lead or the outright lead produced cheers and anxiety and sheer delight at each hole. There were five co-leaders at one point. The production crew for CBS could barely keep up. The cheers were non-stop, save the most tense moments on the greens.

Woods fell to 5-under after struggling on the greens all day.

Ramirez signed a one-year, $2 million contract in the offseason with the Tampa Bay Rays, but went 1-17 in the first six games of the season. After serving a 50-game suspension in 2009 while with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ramirez' numbers slumped.
