The CBA has been getting a lot of press because meetings between owners and players have not been going... well. On Wednesday things got a little more bleak looking for the 2011 season, as the NFK owners walked away from the negotiating table. The Players' Union offered a 50-50 split of all revenue, which is estimated at nine billion dollars.

Steve Miller Band's new album, Let Your Hair Down, is set to release April 19. And while this news is probably just the right dose of classic rock music for Steve Miller's fans, there's much more. Gregg Allman also dropped a new album recently, Low Country Blues, and will join the Steve Miller Band on tour.

2010 saw Rihanna's "Last Girl on Earth" tour take the world by storm, hitting nearly 44 markets across the globe. 2011 brings a new tour, which is already booked for 45 dates in Europe (sold out, by the by), and that tour includes quite a few North American dates. The "Loud" tour is in support of Rihanna's fifth studio album, Loud. The album has reached #1 in six countries.

When someone mentions that popular punk rock band Rise Against and classic punk-rock band Bad Religion are hitting the road together, they'd think 'Oh man! That's great. Rise Against is opening for Bad Religion again. I'll have to go to that one.' Well, that's what Rise Against lead singer Tim McIlrath thought too, about six years ago.

Scenes from the Suburbs, a companion to Arcade Fire's Grammy-nominated album The Suburbs' song "The Suburbs" by Spike Jonze, is set to debut at this month's Berlin Inthernational Film Festival. The music video for "The Suburbs" was also filmed by Jonze. Arcade Fire has released more information about the film on their website. The film is 30 minutes long and was co-written by Jonze and Win and Will Butler.

The 10th annual Sasquatch! Music Festival will soon be upon us. As per the usual, many great, great musicians and groups will be attending said festival. For those keeping track of the traditional length of most festivals, there is a peculiarity in Sasquatch!'s scheduling. Most festivals take place over three days, releasing sonic bliss at what can only be described as just the right amount of amazing for a weekend.

Aaron Rodgers can rest easy. He'll no longer be compared to Brett Favre. On Super Bowl Sunday, Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to a win in the biggest game of the year over the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25. Vince Lombardi returns to Green Bay. The Packers have now won 13 titles, with nine coming before the Super Bowl era.

Tom Brady became the first unanimous choice for the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award since the AP started handing out the award. Brady was close to getting a unanimous vote in 2007, getting 49 of the 50 votes. Brady, the consummate teammate, had this to say about receiving the award:

LCD Soundsystem has announced that they will play their final show on Saturday, April 2, at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The group released an official statement on their website. "For just one more night, we will be playing with friends and family for nearly 3 hours-- playing stuff we've never played before."
